Does it cost anything?
Bot Convene is free. The thinking uses your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription, or an API key if you’d rather pay per use.
Which AI does Chief use?
Whichever you connect, and you can mix them: Chief on Claude, a researcher on ChatGPT. Chief picks lighter models for small jobs to save your usage.
Can it change my files?
Only in folders you choose, and only once you switch editing on for that folder. Everything starts read-only.
How do I use it on my phone?
Leave Bot Convene running on your PC and reach it from your phone over your own private Tailscale network. Ask Chief and he’ll walk you through it, then add it to your home screen.
